It doesn't work with iPod touch. I have to use the cable at the back. Work well with iphone4. I don't know why. But the sound is ok and very easy to use.

I originally looked at buying this speaker months ago but only just talked myself into it...
I decided to buy the purple version as I didn't just want a plain black dock. I was pleased that it also came with different docks to accommodate the my old nano as well as my newer Itouch.
The remote is small and I wouldn't want to take it outside for fear of losing it but it does have a sneaky little storage space in the back to help me keep it safe at home.
The sound really is great anywhere in the room and even at low volumes carries quite far.
I haven't yet used it on batteries only but I don't think it would be a practical portable unit simply because of it's size.

I do need to disclose that I am a product tester (LPT10069) but this just gave me the flimsy excuse I needed to buy it.

Was given this as a xmas present has excellent sound quality, very easy to use, , looks great, comes in 3 different colours, its portable so i can take it outside and use it by the pool.

Received as a Christmas present, after shopping around. Beat a lot of other docks out there in the same sort of range, it had crisp clean sound, quite compact, and looked nice. Easy to set up and use, looks great just about anywhere, nice response, some others sounded a bit distorted or too bass-heavy. For its price, a great iPod dock that will keep you dancing and singing for a long time to come. Slightly annoying remote, but otherwise no other real let-downs.

This dock sounded the best out of the Logitech products instore, and sounded even better when i brought it home. would have liked more features with the led screen but im not complaining given the price. =)

Ive this Dock for a few months now and im lovin the sound quality! only thing that couldve made it better is to make it LOUDER!
and its sounds perfect even when im at the other end of the house!

Purchased this product along with a Ipod Touch 4g for my son this Christmas. The new Ipod touch 4g will not fit onto the dock of this unit. Old Ipods are ok. Not told this info before I purchased. Sound is fantastic for the money.

This is a good iPod dock with great speakers. I like how the speakers are in the back as well as the front. Wish the screen had more features other than a 24 hour orange LED clock and you could use iPod music for alarm. Would be cool with integrated iPod app :) Enjoy the dock, is pretty good.

Sound is wonderful (front and back)-- great bass for the size; stepped volume (in tiny increments) ensures I can go to bed/relax to it without it being too soft or too loud (unlike many other radios/docks).
Only small complaint is I would have liked the tray adapters to have a small rear guiding lip that guides the phone into the dock adapter. As it is now, particularly at night, I have to fumble, turn on the iPhone for light -- sometimes the room light -- to be able to correctly place the phone in the dock. Not a deal breaker but probably an extra 10-cents a box for Logitech if they added that little bit more of plastic.

I have an Ipod Touch and the connection to the docking station constantly disconnects and the music stops. Piece of junk - would not recommend.

I liked the product a lot. The only problem is that the alarm is really boring. It's just a beep beep beep beep. I mean, that's cool if that's what you want. I just think it would be better to have more options. I absolutely love everything else!

clock loses 4hrs in a 24 hr period.
Either the machine has a defect or i am not following the proper process when setting the clock. Anyone else experience this problem with this stereo?

For the money, best bang for the buck.
I purchased a radio from Cambridge Sound Works and paid alot of money for it. I bought this system and the sound is great. Better than Sound Works radio.

I really do like my speaker system, I wish it was cheaper but for the product it is worth it.
I believe that you need to do research before you buy, and everyone has to buy something that fits them, like I would bought a stereo if I wanted more power.

THIS DOES DO ALL I WAS LOOKING FOR, I did not have a radio, or sleep timer. I wanted a rechargeable battery, but didn't need it.
The finish really likes fingerprints.
I do recommand this product, research this more to see if this is what you want.
Every logitech I ever owned was nice.

very good quality of sound and can fill a large room easily and by large i mean big big not just a room i your house it could fill your whole house with crystal clear sound.
it does wake you up to beeping but if you set the alarm on your ipod instead of the device then hey presto music to your ears that is just these others reviewers not spending enough time to look at other options.
logitech cannot be beaten for quality and price unless you quadruple the cost to get bose quality but to be honest this is just as good for what most people need and it pretty cheap.
very good make logitech keep up the good work.

they do everything thing i want them to do great sounding speakers that go loud and the the sounds goes in every direction so if you have it in the middle of room it sounds the same anywhere and it charges your iPod and works with anything mp3 player and has a simple remote which is nice and another great thing is the look of it a lot of speakers i have seen look just awful
