We bought this after not wanting to spend too much after the 4yr old and 2 yr old destroyed the HP and Dell keyboards/ mice in rapid succession. So far this keyboard has survived a chocolate milk bath, the subsequent rinsing under the tap, being fought over and dropped on the tile floor numerous times, sticky fingers and being sat and stood on. The mouse is thrown on the tile floor on almost a daily basis by the two year old and slammed repeatedly on the table when she can't get Shaun the Sheep to work. Oh, and then there is the occasional chew on the scroll wheel. Despite the incredibly rough treatment, the keyboard and mouse still work really well and I have no problems playing wow when I finally manage to get them off sesame street.

Unexpected from Logitech
Date:6 May 2013
Been using Logitech products for years and quality is great. However with this keyboard, I found an extra ctrl key and screw in the box then I noticed that a couple of the keys (ctrl and alt) have a corner shaved off. Appears to be a refurbished product sold as new. Although product works, not too happy this time.

Horrible Quality, unexpected from Logitech
Date:11 January 2013
Within 3 months of buying the product, the left click button on the mouse has failed completely. Very annoying and impossible to drag and single click anymore. On the odd time it works, it acts as a double click even with slowest click speed setting. Very shoddy quality unbecoming of Logitech products.

mouse doesn't connect
Date:12 December 2012
Bought this set to get both keyboard and mouse on just one receiver, the keyboard works so far but the mouse won't even connect to the receiver. Searched for a solution but never got the mouse working, always got message that a line was missing in the driver. There is NO driver available on Logitechs website so am using the keyboard and my old logitech M310 mouse with its own receiver. Will probably take this back to store and get something else, not logitech.

Caps Lock
Date:18 March 2012
Nice neat keyboard and mouse. I have just one issue and that is there are no lights or on screen notification for NUm lock and Caps lock. Very annoying when you don't know what you are currently using until you start typing.

Cant go wrong for price
Date:23 January 2012
Works great for what it is, like previous has stated no lights for caps but doesnt bother me all that much. Only gripe I have is weight of mouse, I prefer a bit of weight which it doesnt have, that saying, its a cheap set designed at that part of the market. I picked it up for $19 from Bing Lee and cant go wrong for that price. Using as a fill in keyboard/mouse until I can afford a K800.

SetPoint no go
Date:23 January 2012
Responding to Logitech for Alpha 1 above dated 20Aug2011. MK260 does not support SetPoint software. If you don't know your own product how can users know. Now I am stuck with this set cause MSY follow Australian law does not support exchange of purchase due to change of mind. See your own forum ...http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Keyboards-and-Keyboard-Mice/Setpoint-support-for-MK260/td-p/632062

Hi user, you are correct the MK260 is not supported with the SetPoint Software and instead uses the native USB drivers already present within your operating system, Setpoint is actually not required for the keyboard or button functions to work.

Great product
Date:20 August 2011
Just a few gripes, but then this was a cheap buy. No lights on key board to let me know if cap/num lock is on.also be nice if mouse could power down or switch off manually. But like I said was a cheap buy have always liked Logi over micky soft. Other than that this thing is bullet proof. Love it.

Hi Alpha1, thanks so much for your review & feedback. You may like to try our SetPoint software which not only lets you set various controls for the keyboard & mouse but can provide on-screen prompts for things like Cap/Num Lock.

Just fantabulous
Date:9 January 2011
i bought it two months ago and it is working fantabulouly with my lappy as well as with desktop. absolutely no signal drops and no need to set up a connection manually. simply plug n play!!! just one flaw i wish amended- it does not have a power button. had it been there it could have saved some of the precious energy...
