I had an old worn out broken webcam. I recently finished my course and started working full time so i thought i'd treat myself with a few things, new desktop, some games, and a brand new webcam.
After some heavy research and review readings i decided to purchase this. I got it off eBay brand new for $96. I am yet to find a problem with it. The audio quality of my microphone is wonderful, the video quality is sharp, smooth, and just amazing. I skype'd with a lot of people the day i got it and they were amazed with it as well.
Definitely worth the money, the quality is all there.
The software can be a bit buggy at times, but it doesn't phase me.
A MUST BUY!

Just purchased C920

Excellent! Yet to try on overseas skype, but local skype excellent. Auto everything takes the hassel out of focussing and microphone volume adjustment - excellent feature. Installed first go, software not flakey at all, very easy setup.
Can't understand previous vista owner's comments not suitable for skype or difficult to install. I do agree however, a CD installation disk would have helped.
Download was automatic but took ten minutes to install on my system. Running windows 7 professional on Core I7-870 machine, 8 G ram, no problems and software integrated easily with skype.
All the extra goodies are nice (with movement detection), but not something I'm going to use just yet. I will however examine the 15 Megapixel capture capacity, video capability in HD for use with both my Newtonia 10" telescope and my Olympus laboratory microscope. For $80 bucks brand new, I think i got a bargain.
Build quality is excellent, and you can't fault the glass coated lens by Carl Ziess. I can't fault it

Good Camera, Pity About the Software
Date:20 April 2012
Purchased for use with Skype. Tip: Don't install the Logitech camera software as its very flaky. If intend to use as a Skype Cam, then use the default settings. This could be my system (Vista 64bit, P6T m/board) but you can't even just install the driver (the install keeps failing and this is not my system preventing it) Camera is packaged very well, is just plug and play, and performs really well out of the box. Lastly, this camera is not suitable for TV Skype. If you want to add a camera to your Skype enabled TV, get the TV version (pay to check other websites as I couldn't find one from Logitech Australia when I purchased mine)
